Domaine du Possible
Founded in 2003 by former Amnesty International worker–turned–vigneron Loïc Roure, Domaine du Possible sits in Lansac, in the heart of the Fenouillèdes within the Côtes du Roussillon. Loïc transformed an abandoned village cooperative cellar into both a working winery and living space, later shared with fellow winemaker Edouard Laffitte. The domaine has grown from 2.5 to 10+ hectares, planted mainly to Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, with Macabeu and Grenache Gris for whites. Farming is organic, soils are diverse—schist, gneiss, granite, limestone—and many vines exceed 50 years of age.
Loïc’s winemaking is low-intervention and instinctive: whole-cluster, semi-carbonic fermentations, native yeasts, low extraction, minimal (often zero) sulfur, aiming for wines that are bright, fluid, and acid-driven rather than tannic or heavy. Bottlings remain under AOC Côtes du Roussillon, reflecting his commitment to place.
The wines are vivid, energetic, and soulful—pure Roussillon with charm and drinkability.
