Domaine Huré Frères

The Huré Frères family has deep roots in Champagne, dating back to the late 19th century. The domaine, located in the Montagne de Reims in Ludes, is currently managed by the third generation of the family, with François and his brother, Pierre Huré taking the reins in the 2000s. Their commitment to quality has positioned Huré Frères as one of the key players among independent small growers in the region.

The 10-hectares vineyard, farmed sustainably with organic and biodynamic practices, produces Champagnes of distinctive character. The Huré brothers prioritise soil health and biodiversity, avoiding herbicides and pesticides.

In the cellar, each plot is vinified separately to showcase its unique terroir. Fermentation occurs mainly in stainless steel tanks, with some in oak barrels for added complexity. Natural cold stabilisation preserves freshness and acidity, while lees aging, often exceeding five years, enhances depth. Every step reflects the Huré family’s commitment to crafting refined Champagnes that express their terroir.
