Domaine Duplessis

Today, Lilian Duplessis is in charge of the winery. Concerned about the health of the soil and climate issues, he now only works in organic production, striving to respond accurately and respectfully to the various pathologies that threaten the vine.

Domaine Duplessis consists of 10 hectares of vineyards spread over about twenty plots, each with its own character, some of which have been planted for 75 years, and require constant attention due to organic viticulture. Grand Cru Les Clos, Premiers Crus Vaugiraut, Mont-de-Milieu, Fourchaume, Montée-de-Tonnerre, Montmains and Vaillons: all well-known terroirs among Chablis enthusiasts.

No chemical fertilizers, synthetic insecticides or fungicides are used that could alter the soil, the vines, and ultimately the quality of the wines. They use mechanical weed control and natural grass cover to combat many pests. Sulfur and copper – natural minerals – are used in the smallest doses to fight against powdery mildew and downy mildew.
