The Meyer family

has deep roots in Alsace, with Domaine Julien Meyer located in Nothalten. Patrick Meyer took over in the 1990s, initially using conventional practices before returning to organic and biodynamic farming.

The domaine focuses on classic Alsatian varieties like Riesling, Sylvaner, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer. The vineyards are cultivated naturally, avoiding synthetic chemicals to ensure healthy soils and high-quality fruit.

In the cellar, Patrick follows minimal intervention principles. Each parcel is vinified separately using indigenous yeasts, with minimal or no sulfur added. The wines age on their lees to develop complexity and are clarified naturally with little to no filtration.

Every step aims to capture the unique minerality and vibrancy of Alsace’s terroir, resulting in pure and expressive wines.
