Domaine Gramenon

Perched at 350 metres above sea level on the foothills of the Pre-Alps, at the northernmost point of the southern Côtes du Rhône, Domaine Gramenon has been an icon of natural wine since its founding in 1978 by Philippe and Michèle Aubéry-Laurent. After Philippe's passing in 1999, Michèle carried the vision forward alone until 2022, when her son Maxime-François Laurent took over the estate. Today, its 26 hectares rest on a fossilised limestone reef dating back 86 million years — a truly singular terroir, the source of the freshness and minerality that define the domaine's signature style.

Grenache reigns supreme, accounting for nearly 70% of plantings, with old-vine parcels reaching up to 120 years of age. Syrah, Viognier, Clairette and Cinsault complete the palette. Biodynamic farming has been Demeter-certified since 2010. In the cellar, hand-harvested and sorted grapes, indigenous yeasts and minimal sulphur addition preserve the full integrity of the fruit.
